The end of the beginning.

I finished the first draft of a novel today. All I need to do now is rewrite and edit it a few times, do the synopsis and sell it. Maybe I'll wait until tomorrow to start that, I'm all written out.

Here are a couple of competitions that don't require much work. This one's for a laptop and this is for some book.

Oh, well done! I love the re-writing because you know what's going to happen and the plot's all there, and all you have to do is polish it. A sort of uncreative creativity! Very good luck with it.

I like the first re-write, Frances. At this stage, the story still feels fresh and interesting and I know I can improve it (my first drafts are always full of tense changes and all sorts of messy stuff like that)

Oh God I feel lazier by the day, and here's you, just into March and finished a whole novel. Hope you started it in 1988,that'd make me feel better.
well done, Tosh. I think you should enter the Toshiba laptop comp, it would be SO fitting!
