It's all a bit random.

I've had success in a competition, but I don't think I'm allowed to tell anyone yet. Does that seem fair? Here I am posting links for lots of nice competitions yet never getting anywhere in them myself - then the one time I do, I have to keep quiet? (Actually I don't really mind as I'll be able to brag about it sometime and maybe I'll find a way to give a little clue before then) On the plus side, I've already spent the prize.

Fancy writing a poem about a Scot in London? Before you tell me that really is too random, I'll just mention the £1,000 prize. Think I'll have a go ...

I once asked a nice London Scot
If he liked my poetry a lot
He said, 'sorry, but no'
in a voice pitched low
Then yelled 'of flipping course not!'

Hmmm, seems my characters talk more sense than I do.

Here's yet another Munch the cow competition. You might also like to have a go at this - just don't blame me if you end up with a chocolate camel.

Don't forget to vote for the nail colour you want in the ring picture.

Your blog is as invaluable as ever, Patsy.

Thanks, Sarah.

Cheers, Kitty. The comp has winners at different stages (I'm one of those) then there's a big prize at the end. This is all judged anonymously - so presumably they don't want made public which entry is whose.

Linda, you should never be nice about my poetry as it only encourages me.

Thank you, Edna.

Aaw thanks, Jennifer.

Oh don't you just hate it when someone says "I know something really exciting but I can't tell you"? Good luck for the next stage of the mysterious comp!

Patsy, well done on winning.

Sooo mysterious, can't wait for you to tell us all what it is you've won and what you had to do in order to win it.

Also, just wanted to let you know I thoroughly enjoy reading your blog and find the info you provide extremely useful.

Now, I am orft to vote on that all important matter of nail varnish colour.

Frances, I do want to tell you - but don't want to risk knocking myself out of the final.

Yes, Baggy I suppose I am, otherwise I'd have just kept quiet.

Thanks, Dora. I can tell you what I had to do - write a story.

Life 101, I'll try to find you a competition to win one.

Thanks, Pat. Glad you like it.
