Even more free stuff.

Guess what we're doing over Christmas. This competition might give you a clue - and even better the chance to win a $100 gift card.

Is crime your thing? Writing it I mean. If so, you might like to have a go at this competition. The prize package looks jolly interesting.

If you get involved with the Telegraph short story club you could win yourself £500.

For the readers (which I'm sure includes anyone who's ever stumbled across this blog) I have a couple of giveaways. Olga Miret's book, Cannon Fodder (US link) will be free to download from 14th to 16th December and Genevieve Heaston is doing a give away on Goodreads (the site always has plenty of chances to get hold of free 'real' books)

And The lovely Keith has given me another star to ad to my blog of the year award. Thank you so much, Keith.

    1. Yep! We're bunging a bit of tinsel in the van and heading off for a few days. The weather was a fair bit warmer when we decided to do that but I'm sure it'll be fine.

  5. Ooh, don't forget to keep your woolly socks and bobble hats on when you both snuggle down in your sleeping bags, as it'll be freeeezing. Good luck all the same and I hope you have a lovely time.

    Thanks for all the links.

    1. Thanks. We'll have two double quilts (at least) and the van has heating so it shouldn't be too bad.

  7. Hi Patsy .. well done on the stars and those competitions - I guess you're in the groove for them. You and your van - it's such fun to read about your travels ... mind you if it's heated - that sounds very cosy ..

Have a lovely time - just hope it's not too wet ... or too freezing - you've got the art of it down to a T .... cheers Hilary

    1. It is quite cosy in there, Hilary - and if we're not warm enough there's a pub very near where we'll be staying.

    1. It's no laughing matter, Maggie! (Don't worry, it's a camper van not a tent, there's heating and a shower and cooker and fridge (to keep the bubbly cold - very important!)
