Moonlighting

As my travels took me close to the home of Ireland's Own, I thought I'd pop in for a chat.

Sean Nolan was very welcoming and friendly. He let me snoop round the office, sit in the editor's chair and send myself a few acceptances. (One of those isn't true)

Sadly I didn't get to meet Phil Murphy - maybe next time.

  7. I've never tried submitting there, Patsy - what do they like? PF or FF?

    1. Much more PF than FF, Wendy. Definitely worth reading a few issues to get an idea though as they have a particular style that's not quite like any UK mags. You can get it in Smiths.

    1. We did have a good chat, Hilary. It's given me an even better idea of the type of thing they like to publish.

  9. Lovely photos, Patsy. And I'd not thought of submitting to Irish magazines so thanks for that!

    1. It's worth having a read of an issue or two, Tracy. Like PF they have their own style. The mag is easy to get over here - 1/4 of their sales are in the UK. WH Smiths stock it.
