Spooky stuff

I've been placed 5th in the latest Spinetinglers competition. You can read my entry here. It's a monthly competition, free to enter and offers prizes from £100 for first place down to £25 for 5th. The results are announced quickly too.

I don't write many ghost stories. Can't think why as I visit plenty of places which look as though they could be haunted. Perhaps I need another trip for inspiration? (any excuse!)

    1. Yes, a modern tower block is as likely to be haunted as a romantic castle ruin, Hayley.

    1. I don't find them harder to write than other genres, Linda - I just don't seem to come up with the ideas for them very often.

  6. Add my congrats, too! That wall in the photo looks like it could fall at any time.

  9. Congratulations, Patsy, on the ghost story. Spinetinglers is great website - they take more than just ghost stories. Mildish horror and crime also seem to feature.

    1. That's true, Alyson. I've only tried ghost stories with them, but they'll consider anything which makes the reader's spine tingle.
