Be quick for the Beeb

BBC radio are looking for stories of 1,900 to 2,000 words - but you'll need to move fast!

You've got a few more days for this one and there's a chance of winning £15,000.

  5. Got my entry in for Opening Lines at the w/e. Phew. That was early for me ...
    But may give the National Short Story a miss - all the shortlist in 2014 were big names so I'm not there's any point of entering this one

  6. I'm waiting for the day I qualify for the National Short Story Prize - my publisher is small and American, and if I remember correctly from the rules, that's not good enough. I have a story that might fit the Opening Lines one, but it's destined elsewhere... unless I change my mind in the next couple of days!
