    1. Blues and purples are my favourite flower colours ... I like most shades though.

  2. You're not a poet? Me neither. But I'm not gardener either. What are those flowers? I want some.

    1. They're aquilegias, Rosemary. Quite easy to grow, especially in a bit of light shade.

  3. I'm no poet either and I don't even have a garden, but my wife has a small courtyard full of flowers and stuff.

Actually, I'm fairly sure I never will be.

  6. If only, Patsy! I might be wrong, but I think this is for publishers to put forward poetry collections and award winning single poems?

    1. I didn't get that impression, Marion - but maybe that just shows how little I know about poetry?

    2. 'fraid so, Patsy. Just had a look. :(

      Category C: Single Poems

All publishers, prizes and magazines wishing to submit individual poems under Category C should fill out the form below and submit the poems by 27 March 2015.

      5. Entries from individual poets of their own work will not be accepted. This includes self-published collections.

    3. It was the not accepting self published stuff I missed. (I confess that as I knew I wouldn't be trying it, I probably didn't read all the rules very thoroughly)

    4. Ah, yes, Patsy, self published work seems to be excluded from some competitions. I wonder how many publishers/editors actually submit poetry on behalf of their clients...
