Rollick

Rollick means to behave in a carefree, boisterous manner or to have a frolicksome adventure.

I often have a rollicking good time on our campervan adventures (I'll spare you the details of any frolicking which may occur)

Our local seaside village is inundated with campervans at the moment. MyOH gets snippy about them filling the carpark, but I envy them their freedom to roam unfettered.

Just subbed my first piece for the week so sure I deserve to have a good rollick. Good word.

I always thought a 'right rollicking' was a good telling off. Maybe that begins with a 'b'!

Love this word, Patsy, it just rollicks off the tongue, doesn't it?

It is a nice word to say, Maria.

If there are so many that local people can't park I can understand him getting a bit annoyed.

Patsy said...

You do, Beatrice.

Patsy said...

Now you mention it, Maggie I have heard rollicking used that way. Whether or not anyone has ever had cause to give me a rollicking is something I shall remain tactfully silent about.

Patsy said...

It does, Tracy.

There's a market for descriptions of the frolicking, but you might want to take on a pen name to submit your stories. ;)

And a ghost writer, Jacula!
