Thinkerbeat

Thinkerbeat are running four fiction competitions this year. There's a $25 prize for the current one.

Note - they like US, not UK spellings. I got told off for putting an s where they wanted a z.

ER, I couldn't THINK of a suitable illustration. Rather than BEAT myself up about it, I've picked one at random. Can you guess where I took it? Or who designed the bridge?

  1. Hi Patsy - Thomas Telford .. and what a pain having to use American zpellingz ... ?!

I've no idea where it is though .. but it is beautiful - so don't beat yourself up over it ...

Cheers and enjoy the holiday weekend .. Hilary

  3. Issambard Kingdom Brunel. That must be a secret corner at the bottom of your garden.

    1. I'd love a garden big enough for a bridge in a secret corner, Maggie. I wouldn't get any writing done though, so perhaps it's as well I haven't.

  4. King Richard of course designed the bridge wherever it is.

    1. I can't prove that Thomas didn't dig out one of his original sketches, Oscar so you could be right.

  5. It looks like it's suffered a bit of damage, or is it meant to look like that? :-)
