Happy New Year

As is traditional at this time of year I've been assessing the previous twelve months and looking forward to the next twelve. 2015 has been a variable year for me, but there's been more good than bad, especially when it came to the writing.

I've used my new pen (Christmas gift from my lovely husband) to write out my 2016 plans. Are your plans similar? More detailed? Totally different?

Whatever your hopes and aims for 2016, I wish you all the best for the year ahead.

I haven't sat down and made any plans yet, Patsy, and I suspect they'll be just a few ideas when I do! Have a productive and successful 2016.

Have a Happy New YEAR, Patsy and I hope next year will be as good as this year for you. I'm off on holiday (I won it in a competition) then it will be back to doing all writerly stuff.

Happy New Year Patsy. I have decided it's time to try blogging again. Blogger wouldn't let me back in so have gone with Wordpress. It's at a basic level as I'm still getting used to it. You can find me on www.outofyorkshireblog.wordpress.com

Happy New Year. I love your to-do list - have fun should be first, though! My plans revolve around my new release in June, and trying to get enough ideas together for a new novel. I quite fancy having a holiday, too :-)

And when the clock strikes 12, here's wishing you lots of fun and frivolous laughter and that you keep your shoes where they should be, in line with Mr Phots's. xxx

I was thinking that 'have fun' should be at the top of the list, but then writing and doing stuff is fun too. Happy New Year, Patsy.

I love your list and wish mine could be so simple, sadly I know if I made my lift that straight forward, I'd never get anywhere. Here's wishing you a very happy and productive near year. :)

After last night's #writingchat I have set out a monthly plan! Each month will be filled in more detail nearer the time! Good writing for 2016.

Happy New Year, Patsy. Like Lindsay, following #writingchat I too will make a monthly plan and keep meticulous records. I thought your number 3 said have furs... thought you were going in for some new coats with fox tails etc. He he, you always have fun anyway. Happy 2016.

The only plans I have made with regards to writing are
a) do more of it
b) try to write more haiku in French and
c) not use writing as an excuse to get out of doing housework

Have a good one, Patsy! :)

Happy New Year, Patsy. Thank you for all the info on competitions etc that you provide. I concur with all your resolutions but would add to mine - Speed up woman! Write more stuff. Tell that inner editor to back off until she's really needed.

I got some woolie (and very purple) gloves for Christmas and there's a bit of fuzzy stuff on my anorak hood - that's close enough to fur for me!

Happy New Year.
