A novelty

Thanks to my cousin Christopher, for sending me this link for a novel writing competition. There's a £20,000 as the prize. Entrants must be unpublished, so sadly I can't try this one. Christopher thought that maybe one of my blog readers would like to try.

I considered illustrating this post with an embarressing photo of him - but then remembered that could go two ways, so I've picked on another member of our family instead.

What do you reckon to my chances of getting away with this?

  1. Hi Patsy - £20,000 would be very nice! Your cousin could well be right ... let's hope someone picks it up and wins. Is she called Candy ... to match the candy floss she's eating .. ? Fun photo - and yes you'll be just fine with this one ... cheers Hilary

Now hopefully that family member doesn't share an embarrassing photo of you!

    1. My Granny knitted it, Christine. I expect I had a similar one, though I don't have a photo of me wearing it.

  5. You'll get away with this one, Patsy. The novel is another matter.
