Thanks to Kathy Schilbach for reminding me about
this rather good competition. The prize is a six day Arvon retreat in Shropshire. All you need to do to win is write 500 words on the theme of 'retreat' and be exceedingly lucky.
I'm going on my own writing retreat in the van soon. Today I signed the contract for a book which I've not yet finished writing, so I'll be busy. Will probably find to take a
few pictures of castles and stuff though.

Enjoy your trip, Patsy!
Congratulations on the contract!
Having never had a contract to sign, I wondered if it makes it easier to work to a deadline? Good luck!
Signed a contract! Well done you!
Good luck with the competition and the book.
pictures of stuff are my favorite
Wonderful news, Patsy - well done on the contract.
That's awesome news in regards to your contract. I avoid writing competitions so others have a chance to win. Yes, not how modest I am :)
Nothing like a plan in a caravan.
All the best, Patsy.
Gary :)
Hi Patsy - that's brilliant news - I knew you had a market for your books - they are great stories for many readers ... congratulations - cheers Hilary
Congratulations, Patsy - and enjoy your retreat :-) xx
Congratulations Patsy. And have a great retreat :-) xx
Congrats on the book. Hope the retreat is productive!
Fantastic news! Time to practise a fancy signature...
A few days in Shropshire would be great, but will have no entry. (Darn it.) Good luck on your new project!
I'm sure I will, Maxi.
Thanks, Alex.
In my case I think it will, Maggie.
I spelled my name right and everything!
Thanks, Suzy.
They're the best kind, Mac.
Thanks, Niddy.
If I find a most modest man competition, I hope you'll try it, Gary.
Thanks, Hilary.
Actually this one is non-fiction. Weren't expecting that, were you?
Thanks, Teresa.
Will do, Sue.
Thanks, Annalisa.
That's the one part I do have sorted, Helen.
Thanks, Oscar.
