Discover dark dragonflies ...

Thanks to Jacqui Cooper for passing on the links to the details of these two competetions.

On the Premises have one with the theme of Darkness and a $220 prize.

The Dragonfly Tea one also has a theme; Discovery. The prize they're offering is £1,500! I could do a lot of discovering with that amount of cash, but sadly can't enter as professional writers are excluded and they define this as anyone who has ever earned a fee from writing.

I think both your links connect to the 'on the premises' competition, unless I've clicked in the wrong place?

Ooops! It was my mistake - think I've fixed it now.

That second one boasts a great prize.

The deadline for the first comp doesn't give me enough time, but I have always liked dragonflies, dark or not.

Oh that's a shame - I'm not eligible either for that substantial prize.

Hi Patsy - always good to have the links ... particularly with dragon-flies ... and yes a goodly prize ... cheers Hilary

It does, Alex.

I like them too, Oscar.

I can understand them excluding pro writers, but I feel sorry for those who've just eaned a few pounds selling a filler somewhere.

Winning that will brighten someones's day.
