Fancy a quickie?

You'll need to write fast to enter this competition as it closes tomorrow – but as you only need 50 words, it's not impossible.

There's a photo prompt on the site. Can anyone tell me the subject? At first I thought it was Whitby Abbey, but after looking at photos we took there this summer, I'm not so sure.

I think it is Whitby Abbey, Patsy. I did an image search for "Whitby Abbey Graves" and found one taken from a similar angle - on the 13th line down oddly enough! Not that I'm procrastinating or anything.

The cemetery needs a look-after. Maybe the ghosts hold church meetings in the remnants of the abbey.

Hmm yes it does look rather like Whitby Abbey although it is many years since I have visited there.

I thought it must be Whitby. No blue sky or sunshine in the comp photo, I guess that's why it looks much spookier. I've entered ...

Maybe. I don't remember the small modern building being there, but perhaps the angle is deceptive.

Only a couple of months for me, but we did go to a lot of places so I could be confused.

Yes, the bright blue sky when we visited made it look splendid rather than spooky.
