If you can get the outline and opening chapter to them by the end of March you're in with a chance of an excellent prize package which includes publication, a cash prize and books. UK residents only are eligible to enter.
Assuming I can get something ready in time, I plan to enter a romance set partly in a cottage garden, a little like this one.

Hi Patsy - I think Mills and Boon is out of my 'ken' - but good luck with the entry and a cottage garden will definitely improve romance! Cheers Hilary
Good luck Patsy! Its not a genre I write.
What a great opportunity! Thanks for sharing and wishing you very good luck with getting an entry in there!
Good luck, Patsy!
Let's collaborate. I'll write the car-chase and murder scenes, you write the lovey dovey stuff.
Thanks, Patsy. Will look at this.
Sounds like a great opportunity for those in the U.K. Good luck with your submission, Patsy. When I belonged to the Exeter & District Writers Club (now Exeter Writers), we were all desperate to write a Mills & Boon! One of our members (sorry, can’t remember her name now) was actually accepted and went to London to meet the Editors. We were so thrilled for her.
Since I cant join in, I hope you win, Patsy.
Thanks, Hilary.
I do write romance, but whether it's M&B type romance I'm not sure.
If I get something in, I'll consider that an achievement in itself, Lexa.
Thanks, Alex.
That could work, Mac!
Well worth a try if it's the kind of thing you'd like to write, Rosemary.
That must have been exciting.
Thanks, Oscar.
