Taking a risk

I may have mentioned this adventure novel competition before, but as there's £16,000 in the prize pot and both published and unpublished novels can be entered and entrants can be of any nationality, I reckon it's better to risk repeating myself than miss it out.

Do you have any adventurous plans for the coming year?

That's worth repeating.
If by adventurous you mean leaving the house, yes.

Ha! I like Alex's answer. Same goes for me. I prefer my adventure in the pages of a book or on a TV/Movie screen. :)

Nothing adventurous planned this year. That's a nice photo on the bridge, I assume.

Definitely worth flagging up again. We will be adventuring in Spain for a couple of weeks in the summer.

Adventure novel competition? What a great idea. I had both my knees replaced last year so as far as adventurous, this year I think I'll take it easy and just plan on enjoying life, writing more and expanding on my photography, now that I can get around better. Yay for me! Visiting from the IWSG! www.dianeweidenbenner.com

We booked a cruise on a maiden voyage of a mega cruise ship from Norwegian Cruises. That's in 2018 though. The ship is in the process of being built now.

Hi Patsy - I'm certainly not attempting to 'drive' one of those enormous vessels - but you look the part! Good luck with the writing ... cheers Hilary

It's a start, Alex.

Book adventures are good, Madeline.

Yes, on the bridge. There were also people who know what they're doing there, so it wasn't as dangerous as it might seem.

We might be too - if we can fit it in around our other trips.

I'm glad your op means you can get about more, Diane. Have fun with the photography.

Oooh, nice adventure.

I didn't get to take her for a spin, Hilary. With my sesnse of direction that's probably just as well.
