Waxing lyrical

Here's a poetry competition with a £40 prize for the winner and another £40 for the top UK poet (if these are the same person, they'll get £80 and there will then be a £10 second prize.) That double incentive has encouraged me to have a go.

The first entry is free. You can submit up to two more poems, but if you do then you'll need to pay an entry fee.

Does she write doggerel, Gary?

Hi Patsy ... waxing lyrical ... I might if I wrote doggerel! Sadly poetry (particularly not doggerel) does not come to me ... I'd need a lot of candles and thus wax to achieve anything ... good luck with your entry ... cheers Hilary

She's been known to compaws, sorry, compose her poetry in a disjointed manner. She does have dogged determination doing doggerel :)

It doesn't often come to me either, Hilary.
