A tasty one

Ouen Press are running a short story competition with the theme of taste. Entries must be between 3,000 and 10,000 words. The prize is £300.

You have until the end of the year to enter. To take part you must be over 18 and alive.

Do you think those eligibility criteria are too strict?

Hi Patsy - Depends what we eat to give some ideas for the theme - then perhaps the eligibility criteria might be a tad serious! Sounds an excellent competition to have a try for ... cheers Hilary

I guess L Ron Hubbard won't be writing this one from the grave then.

Your pic of frying onions may win. just come up with the words.

I suppose it depends on what they mean by, "taste". Of course, my comments are never in poor taste.

Not sure my entry will be serious enough, but I'm going to have a go at this one.

No - that reduces the competition a bit!

If my written work was as powerful as the smell of frying onions, I'd be very pleased with myself!

They certainly aren't, Gary.
