Cark is the harsh noise made by a carrion crow. They do sound as though they have a lot on their minds, maybe that's why
cark also means burden.
Carking is an archaic term for something worrisome. I hope nothing happens today to
carken you with
carking doubts.

Cool castle - where is it?
I did not know that! I like that word though. Maybe I can use it somewhere...
Cawhing back at you...in American
Nothing like listening to a big crow a-carking..
Cark is the noise my husband makes when he clears his throat!
The UK, Alex ... I've forgotten the name. Hawkworth, Walkwoth something like that?
Warkworth - that's it. It's a big place, that's just one section.
I think it'd be easier to fit in than some of the others I've blogged about, Leandra.
Sounds fairly similar, Mac.
It's an atmospheric sound isn't it, Oscar.
He should get that seen to, Wendy!
