Sound good?

Soundworks are running another of their short story competitions. Entries of up to 2,500 words should be submitted by 28th February. Previously published work is eligible. The prize is to have your story read by a professional actor, recorded and placed on the site for all to read for free.

It's weird hearing your work read by someone else. Has that ever happened to you, and if so did you enjoy the experience?

One of my fabourite sounds is the sea breaking on the shore. What do you like listening to?

Chris Monteiro read my short story, Money in the Jar recently on podcast. He sounded like he was from around here, even though he isn't. I especially enjoyed it when the check arrived.

The subsequent time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I imply, I know it was my choice to read, however I really thought youd have one thing fascinating to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about one thing that you can fix if you werent too busy looking for attention. free online casino slots

Had one of my stories read on radio recently - for a Talking for the Blind station! Was a bit strange hearing my words being read by someone else. I do like listening to waves on a shore and the cy of gulls always makes me think of the seaside and the place I used to work for summer in my teens.
