This competition from Harper's Bazaar is for a 2,200 word short story on the theme of summer. The prize is a two night stay in a hotel in Yorkshire.

I have writing friends in Yorkshire, so I'm tempted to give this one a go.

Thanks Patsy had a quick look. I'm not an expert, but if I've read correctly it look like they take (all?) rights for all entrants, not just the winner.

@ Elizabeth – It's not very clear. The bit about possibly being asked to sign something else suggests it would just be the winner, and it doesn't state such rights are exclusive.

I found it a bit unclear too- And as you always advise us best check out the terms and conditions. Thanks for your view on it.
