Thalassic

If something is thalassic then it's of the sea or seas. The view from our campervan is often thalassic.

A thalossophile is someone who loves the sea. Do you think I qualify?

Things just spring into my head...

...a broad vocabulary can be deadly to a writer.

But knowing weird stuff is cool.

Thalassemia

@ Hilary – Just about, I think!

@ Keith – ha! There was this one time ...

@ Alex - I thought so!

@ Mac – I think a broad vocabularly is vital, but constsantly using the full range is probably a mistake.

@ Celia – not sure I dare. I'll probably start thinking I have it.

Yes you certainly qualify as a thalassophile and thank you for the lovely word. I found your blog because you're one of the hosts for the April 2019 IWSG.
